This is by far my favorite place to camp. The lake is great for swimming and fishing. The camp store is ran by a wonderful couple, they are very friendly and sweet. The camp sites have all been great that we've stayed in and I've got zero complaints from any of the many trips that we've taken here.

Vast campground. Needs clearly posted instructions on how to first occupy your reserved campsite. Main issue is getting (where and how) fresh water tanks filled since there are no water hookups. There are spigots throughout, but you do not know that when coming in. Sites are all fine gravel. A few minor leveling issues, but it’s the mountains. Electric hookup worked fine. Bath house door slammed, could hear it throughout the campground day and night. Dump station about 3/4 miles from campground. Camp store was tasteful, well stocked, nice. Heavily wooded. Yet, not much privacy between sites because buffers have been cleared down to knee height. We expected a lot more privacy. That was disappointing. Some OTA channels from Knoxville on TV. Great walking trail around the lake. Bear warnings, but we saw none. Good backcountry roads, lots to discover. Skyway worth the drive. Far fewer people than in GSMNP, laid back. Would visit again.

Love camping at Indian Boundry and have camped there for years. My only complaint is this year we were not able to use our hammock because there was no place to hang it within our camp site as with most sites there. We always used the trees just outside the site before. It is a shame that because some people break the rules the ones who don’t are the ones to pay the price. We will continue to camp there and hope that you reconsider this rule.

Very clean and we'll maintained. The only downfall to this place is that it needs to open a little earlier in the year and stay open later.

It’s a beautiful campground. The last couple of years the camp hosts in C section are not our favorite. They seem to be babysitting and have kids toys and play stuff all around the hosts campsite. Babysitting shouldn’t be allowed.

The lake has very clean and pure water. The campsites and bathroom facilities are excellent. And the grounds are well-kept.

A great place to camp. We have gone there in the Fall for the last 12 years and intend to go back this coming year. We like to stay on sites 15-17 in loop A since they have access to the lake for our kayaks. The foliage in simply awesome at the end of October.
