Clean and beautiful, but we noticed a couple on the lake in a boat with a small motor. Thought those weren’t allowed?

They were closed for covid and didn't inform me...didnt answer phone and took me most of the day - up steep mountain roads - to find.

Our experience during July was wonderful. The mountains, the cool, clear water of the lake and the quiet of the remote location are a few of our favorite things about Indian Boundary. The sandy beach area is great for little ones. We love to canoe and kayak and ride bikes around the lake. Of course the Cherohala Skyway offers fantastic vistas and hiking trails and sunsets. We always check out Bald River Falls and it's different every time we see it. This place has become a family favorite and we hope to continue our annual visits.
