We loved our time at Dennis Cove! Our campsite was well maintained and ideally located just above the creek, the bathrooms were clean, and the other campers around us were courteous and quiet. We will definitely return to camp there again!

The campground is very nice! The sites where very well maintained and clean. When we arrived our site had been raked and manicured. We were very impressed with how quiet the campground was during the day and night. The campground does allow for you to run a quiet generator at night. Since there is no power or water hookups it is nice to have AC during the summer months. The bathroom are dated. That being said, the bathrooms were extremely cleaned and stocked at all times. The campground host did an excellent job. The cost is extremely affordable and you will enjoy your stay!

We needed a campground close to Hampton for a backpacking trip to Roan Mountain. Also needed space for a group of 8. This campground was perfect. Not too far from town and beautifully situated along the creek. The site (#1) we had was super nice. Plenty of room for everyone and close to the bathrooms and drinking water. The only bad thing was the narrow, steep and curvy road. Glad I wasn't pulling a camper, but I would be able to get my pop up camper in there if I needed to. The sites were well spaced with plenty of privacy and very level. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We'll keep this campground in mind the next time we're in that area. John Bilbrey

Loved the quieter, less crowded, and more remote experience that Denis Cove offered. The host came by and said hello. We loved the access to potable water, the level and dry pea gravel tent site, and the AT. Denis Cove Falls and the AT (for which we were mainly there) trailheads were a mere 100 yards away. We saw folks wading and cooling off in the roaring (thanks to all the rain earlier in the week) Laurel Fork. Store for essentials was .5 miles away. It was perfect!
