What Guests Are Saying

Silo RV Resort offers a welcoming experience with friendly staff, spacious lots, and well-maintained facilities, making it highly recommended for both short-term and long-term stays. Many guests appreciated the community events and quick maintenance response, noting they felt well cared for during their time there. However, some reviews highlighted issues with management and facility conditions, including poor drainage and inadequate communication, which detracted from the overall experience for certain guests.

Poor Management

My family and I were very disappointed in this RV "resort" in both physical and social management. We were there for a little over 5 months.

Our "premium" pad was in complete disarray upon our arrival. As shown in the pictures added you can see instead of properly fixing the pad it was poorly patched up and for the extra $200 you would think a proper pad would be provided.
Other pads in the campground were in similar condition while others flooded with monsoon rains. There is not adequate drainage installed.

If you prefer quiet, I'd recommend staying on the far north end of the campground for the cement plant on the south end starts work as early as 4 in the morning.
Water pressure along with availability are seldom up to par.

The laundry/bathroom facility building was a clean and neat space. With newer washers and dryers and clean modern bathrooms. The pond and patio covers were a nice touch as well.

As far as social management, it's in my personal experience(s) that management doesn't know who's managing. Along with the fact that employees are clearly not held to the same standards expected of their tenants. Being that the speed limit was merely a suggestion for employees and workers in the surrounding areas.

A better mail option should also be established instead of leaving mail and packages outside the office exposed to elements and to offer a better delivery system.
Lastly if there is going to be a strict vehicle limit there should be overflow parking available, which I was told there would eventually be but has yet to be implemented.
Not worth your money.

You know how they say, “people are more likely to leave a bad review than a good one”? Not me, this is the first actually. I’ve traveled all over the country and have stayed at many rv parks over the last decade. This is the worst one I’ve ever been to. The management seems to not only neglect its patrons but outright hate them.. I’m not using that lightly either.. I feel like livestock rather than a human in their eyes. Everyone staying here seems to collectively feel the same way.. I could criticize the facility itself but the poor management is what gets me.. Try other parks if available, The Whistle Stop down the road blows this out of the water but they were all booked.. 2 stars because the location is excellent, otherwise 1.

I had a wonderful time staying here for work! The staff and facility were fantastic, and I’d definitely come back if I ever need to work in the area again. The lots were great, and the ladies were so helpful with any problems I had. Plus, the community events and holiday treats really made it feel like more than just an RV resort.

We were at Silo RV Resort for almost a year and we had a great experience! It’s family owned and operated, has spacious lots with concrete pads, and the grounds were always well maintained. They even provided mowers and weed eaters for residents who preferred to maintain their own lots, which we really appreciated. The laundry facilities and showers were cleaned daily, and anytime we had an issue, maintenance was quick to respond and get things taken care of.

We truly felt taken care of during our stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, and worked hard to keep the park clean, quiet, and welcoming. After staying at other RV parks since leaving, we’ve realized just how spoiled we were at Silo. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a long-term or short-term RV spot!

"Thank you very much, Megan, and to all your team! I loved living here. I lived here for 9 months and I am very sad to have left, but without a doubt, I would come back! I highly recommend this place to stay.
