Park is very well kept! All attendants are very personable and make sure you have everything you need. They also gave our fur baby several treats!

Nice, clean park! Our site had a lovely view of the lake! We enjoyed fishing and picking blackberries! We ate an amazing meal at A Taste of Texas Family Soul Food”. Highly recommended! We rode our bikes at scenic Pepper Creek park in Temple!

A well maintained RV park with many spots offering shade including shade over the picnic tables. We only stayed one night, it was quiet and nice to wake up to peaceful surroundings and views of the lake.

Even though three of our days at the park it was raining it was still a very peaceful and quiet Adventure everything was very clean and neat and it was very easy to add on extra days when we needed to

The campsite was extremely clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were cleaned and well kept as well. Elaine was the attendant on duty and she was very professional and polite.

Hard to get an actual water view but the cool breeze coming off the water was refreshing.
Night star gazing was really good (dark) and was able to see 7 satellites and a lot of constellations.

From Interstate 35, take Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) west. Drive for nine miles and turn left on Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road). Go two miles to the park entrance. The campground is adjacent to the Belton Dam and spillway.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 35, with the nearest exit leading to Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) and then Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road).

- Gatehouse hours are Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, accepting credit card payments only.
- Contact the Belton Lake Office for more information; life jackets are required.
Safety & rules
- Day use areas are not available at Live Oak Ridge.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles, with overflow parking available for additional vehicles.
- Off-road vehicles require a permit and must be registered, insured, and highway legal.
Utilities
- Waste discharge is only allowed at designated dump stations; dumping grey water and trash is prohibited.
Local regulations
- Visitors must comply with Title 36 regulations enforced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Amenities
- Inflatable structures require a lake activity permit; small swimming pools have specific size limits.
- The Activity Center is available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis with a camping reservation; special permits are required for events with inflatables.

- Firewood should be sourced locally and cannot be cut on USACE property.
