About Belton Lakeview Park

Belton Lakeview Park has two reservable group day-use areas along the lower shore of Belton Lake, providing some of the best fishing and boating in Central Texas. The facility is perched on a bluff overlooking Belton Lake and Dam, a year-round scenic location for group picnics and large gatherings. The site offers many amenities, such as flush toilets, water and electric hookups, a playground and a two-lane boat ramp, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and enjoyable. Belton Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Belton Dam in 1954. The 12,300-acre lake is located on the Leon River, just upstream of the confluence of the Leon River and the Little River.

The pavilion is a wonderful place to host an event, especially one with a large number of guests. The site was clean prior to our arrival and the bathrooms unlocked as expected. There is ample parking and a large field for kids to play if desired. Though we didn't use this time, there is a great (large) grill available for use under the covered pavilion. We had an amazing retirement party for my husband.

Very disappointing! We use this Pavillion at least once a yr! The men’s toilet would not flush, therefore disgusting! Family member said men’s bathroom was not working last yr when we had reunion! The bathrooms are open to the public.. people coming to the bathroom when we rented it! The ladies hand dryer hasn’t worked for the last few times we were there! Only one faucet working in ladies bathroom. Someone needs to tend to this place! Very embarrassing to bring my friends & family members to such conditions!!!

Was really disappointed, as I was advised that the facility would be cleaned before our use, I arrived at the facility and had to scramble to find waterhole to wash off the tables as you had bird poop and the floor was filthy. As well as now trash containers to use as we went along thru out the day. As I feel that the cement walk way needs repair as there is no lighting and we had a family member trip and fall . I tired reaching out to someone but there was no one available on the weekends or after hours, there should be. Also some of the lighting in the pavilion was out.

Unwritten rules on where you can park or unload. And no trash cans or dumpsters anywhere

Location and size of venue were great for our gathering.
The grounds were not picked up, trash and alcohol bottles were left laying around. The washer and horse shoe pits could not be used due to not being maintained or cleaned up. The BIGGEST issue was that the bathrooms were chained and locked. I had no way of getting in touch with anyone the day of. Very disappointed with this!
