The facilities and grounds are always clean. Especially the restrooms and showers. Most campgrounds do not have the same cleanliness and I appreciate the care that is taken at this camp ground to ensure I get to use clean restrooms and showers. In addition, the camp attendants are always friendly when interacting with them.

I stayed for 8 nights, and the bathroom was cleaned only once. The trash was never emptied. In all the years I have stayed in this park, which is over 25 years, this is the first time this has ever occurred.

Site clean and organized. Lady at gate was nice and helpful. Also stopped by to ck on us. Greatly improved customer service.

Staff at this park were very helpful and friendly. Mobile phone coverage for Verizon was good. We stayed at site 41, a nice a shady location that worked well in the late summer heat.

This is a beautiful, well kept park. We went in mid September so it was also quiet. This park is 1/2 way meet up with our friends from McKinney. Live Oak Ridge will now be our meeting place for quick get togethers with them.

We absolutely love Cedar Ridge and the staff that service this park. We did however have an issue with the 50 amp service. I used my EMS on the pedestal and the power was so high that it kept shutting down my service. Which is great… because that’s the purpose of the EMS. One of the two legs stayed at a constant 130 Volts even when it was drawing 0 amps. Well, the EMS shuts the power down at 132 so anyone (or me) shutting off an appliance or the AC cycling off could cause the jump past 132 and lights out. This happened way too often so we cut our trip short and checked out. We will definitely go back once they get the power corrected.

Great campground. We loved the site we were on, but dont recommend others booking it so its available for us whenever we are in the area. ;-) The camphost was the best, but I didnt catch his name. My only suggestion is better ventilation in the shower building - very hot in there.

The campground is accessible via Interstate 35, with the nearest exit leading to Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) and then Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road).

- Gatehouse hours are Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, accepting credit card payments only.
- Contact the Belton Lake Office for more information; life jackets are required.

- Day use areas are not available at Live Oak Ridge.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles, with overflow parking available for additional vehicles.
- Off-road vehicles require a permit and must be registered, insured, and highway legal.
Utilities
- Waste discharge is only allowed at designated dump stations; dumping grey water and trash is prohibited.
Local regulations
- Visitors must comply with Title 36 regulations enforced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Amenities
- Inflatable structures require a lake activity permit; small swimming pools have specific size limits.
- The Activity Center is available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis with a camping reservation; special permits are required for events with inflatables.

- Firewood should be sourced locally and cannot be cut on USACE property.
