Lots of shade in our camp site. Very quiet and clean. Book another one in two weeks. Can’t wait to enjoy another 4 days at the end of the month. 💯

Hands-down, my favorite campground to stay. The camp attendance are always wonderful and the facilities and the venue are always great.

Sadly I had a bad experience - not because the site was bad or the facilities were not good. The reason for the low score is that I could not modify my reservation on the website.
My first stay was good - I got a good understanding of sites that had more shade.
For my second longer stay, I tried to modify my reservation online (for site and dates) ahead of my travel and the website would not let me make the changes ( I followed all the directions to acknowledge my change on 2 places on the site). When I showed up at the campground, the gate attendant said that he could not make any changes and to call. When I tried to call I reached the office of the Corps of Engineers.
Ended up staying at a nearby hotel as the site I had booked did not have a lot of shade to offer during the daytime.

The park is kept very clean and orderly. The attendants are visible throughout the park.

Great experience. I loved the quiet and peaceful environment. My Campsite was nice, it was shaded and there was nothing to complain about. The Restroom + Showers was clean and well taken care of. The people camping near me were very friendly and social. It was a great experience and I'll definitely stay again when the time permits.

I go here 3-4 times a year. The park is always clean and quiet. I like the fact that almost all sites have some shade. The camp host are helpful and polite. I will continue to use this park and recommend it to all my friends !

From Interstate 35, take Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) west. Drive for nine miles and turn left on Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road). Go two miles to the park entrance. The campground is adjacent to the Belton Dam and spillway.
The campground is accessible via Interstate 35, with the nearest exit leading to Farm-to-Market Road 2305 (West Adams Ave.) and then Farm-to-Market Road 2271 (Morgan's Point Road).

- Gatehouse hours are Thursday-Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, accepting credit card payments only.
- Contact the Belton Lake Office for more information; life jackets are required.

- Day use areas are not available at Live Oak Ridge.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period without special permission.
Vehicles & parking
- Each site allows a maximum of 2 vehicles, with overflow parking available for additional vehicles.
- Off-road vehicles require a permit and must be registered, insured, and highway legal.
Utilities
- Waste discharge is only allowed at designated dump stations; dumping grey water and trash is prohibited.
Local regulations
- Visitors must comply with Title 36 regulations enforced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Amenities
- Inflatable structures require a lake activity permit; small swimming pools have specific size limits.
- The Activity Center is available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis with a camping reservation; special permits are required for events with inflatables.

- Firewood should be sourced locally and cannot be cut on USACE property.
