Live Oak Ridge is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a welcoming camping destination. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and appreciated the helpful staff, particularly in maintaining clean restrooms and sites. One of our favorite ACE campgrounds. Sites and restrooms are always clean. Cell service is good so we can use our phone hotspots for internet and streaming TV.

The park attendant was so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are well kept and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My family and I will 100% be returning. My only complaint is that the family that stayed before I arrived, was not gone before my check in time at three. They were not completely gone until 430.

Elaine was our host while we were there and she was amazing. The grounds were clean and more importantly the bathrooms were top notch! She put her soul into the campsite and we will always go back there. She made our experience even better than we expected! Thank you! We look forward to coming back and spending more time there!

We have been camping here for over 10 years. We arrived at 2PM on 3/1 and Brett was at the gate…talking to someone in a truck. Instead of moving that person to the side and letting us in, he was angry when I ask my husband to honk. Without my husband knowing, I had a terrible feeling in my chest and I was getting worse. Brett scolded us and I spoke up that we needed to get to our site. I had to call EMS because my pulse was 182 and they had to start an IV…pulse rate up to 185. They didn’t move the ambulance until getting my pulse to come down. They saved my life. 4 days in cardiac care at Baylor Scott and White. Bret was in site 3. I don’t have his last name. Friends told us he had chewed them out. He moved to another Corps park. I don’t have his last name. He had a beard. I hope you fire him. They told me another 2 minutes, I would not have made it. Thank you for addressing this.
