One of the volunteers, Steve, met us as we setting up at our site. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
Sites were clean and well maintained. Showers and restrooms were clean and well tended.

Great park and staff! Park manager might consider cutting back some of the lake edge brush for better lake view.

There is a convention at the Expo Center that we attend twice a year, and we camp at this campground both times and have been for years. It has always been a great campground, and it continues to improve. Sometimes small improvements go a long way. But they recently painted the space number in the pavement right in the middle of where you should point your camper to back into the site. This painted emblem shines bright in the backup camera of my 5th wheel and makes backing in much easier. Thank you to the park hosts and to the Army Corps of Engineers for supplying this small addition for us!

Yet again, the park was a wonderful spot to relax in for a weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and available for virtually anything we needed. So well kept and organized.... Gerald was extra friendly and cruises around to be sure we don't need anything we don't have. The park is only about 20 miles from home, but a wonderful escape! Thank you, park staff, for creating an environment that feels warm, inviting, and functional!

Jerald and the staff at the park are on top of it! Very nice and really care about the people and experience at the park. One of the cleanest state parks I’ve been to around the area. I’ll definitely be back
