Big Bend is a must see park right up there either Yellowstone in my opinion. The night sky rivals Hovenweep and offers a similar show of the cosmos - another must see. The campground is adequate and bathrooms are clean. I didnβt use showers that are available at store a bit up road for pay so no comment. Sites are nice and big though lots of horse manure that is not attended too. I had to remove it from my site myself so bring a shovel. If u donβt have one, the campground hosts have a brand new one that doesnβt seem to see much use. Also critters are common - a coyote every morning and what looked like a bobcat one evening. Be aware and practice safe storage. Bear boxes are at every site - use them. I would have given 5 stars, but being a single camper, I was harassed and made to feel unwelcome by both the other campers and hosts. I spoke to the ranger about it and cut my trip short. Donβt care to be some place that does not allow me to enjoy the park as they expect of themselves. Getting to be normal any more, so I just report it.

Campground was spacious and clean. Enjoyed visiting the sites in the area and the crossing into Boquillas. The coyotes should be eliminated from the campground area. One volunteer host was very friendly and helpful but the man & woman team (Billy?) were extremely rude and acted like the gestapo, threatening campers with fines for leaving food out while they went to the bathroom and threatened the other camp host with calling the police because his dog was barking.

Campground bathrooms were clean. We had reserved a campsite that did not work with our rig and the camp host changed our site. It made our stay that much better.

The park was wonderful, clean, and not crowded. We used the Shaka App and with our GPS, the app would start anywhere in the park we were, and it brought Big Bend to life.

One of the best campsites I've had the pleasure of being in. Proximity to sights right from the nature trail to the river and the canyons was most convenient. Clean well maintained facitlities and bath rooms. The village center a couple of minutes drive away with showers and laundry all made the experience wonderful.

Camp hosts were amazing and all amenities were well kept. The bathrooms were maintained beautifully. The drinking water and kitchen sink worked like a charm. All other campers were courteous. This is my second time at this camp ground and itβs lovely for all the wildlife. Fun place to stay.
