Nice campground and restroom, please trim the Mesquite tree at site #48, the branches are way too low.

I had a great time at big bend. hot springs in Texas!! was a great experience if you go I do recommend you are aware of the animals in the area as we did see many chayotes. The roads can be a bit rough but nothing felt too scary to travel on. I would recommend bringing spare oil and gas as the neared gas station is about 70 miles away and prices are a bit higher.

Loved the camp site. We chose the non-generator part of the camp which is in a more secluded area among the bushes. Our site had a covered table (all a bit low, but who's complaining). The nights are very dark and we had the best sleep because of that. Loved the place.

I have stayed in a lot of our national parks, especially in the recent years and I’ve got to say this campground was in pretty bad shape compared to most national park campgrounds. It had the overall appearance of just being rundown, even though there were a lot of campers there. Big Bend is a phenomenal national park and the campgrounds should be kept up at a higher standard.

I always enjoy my stay at Big Bend. The camp ground is clean and the bathrooms are well maintained. The only complaint I have is that the showers don’t have adequate hot water, it is warm at best. I will be visiting again in about two months.

So much to do here! We spent several days seeing historic sites, hiking numerous trails, soaking in the hot springs, and enjoyed a day in Boquilles del Carmen, Mexico. Such diverse countryside!

The picture for this site is not correct. The bathroom closest to this site has limited lighting and no shelf to put bathroom items. Campground overall is very clean and inviting.
