Very nice campground, the camp hosts, a couple, were delightful, wish I could remember their names. The bathrooms were clean, and the campsites as well, with a large metal box for food, and what not, so that the critters stay away. It is close to the general store, and gas pumps, and the store has showers, $2.00 for 5 min. nice hot water after a bit. If you need cell service you get it at the general store.

Staying at the Rio Grande Village was a priceless experience for my family and I. We stayed at campsite 11 which was close to the restrooms and the beautiful nature trail. One of our mornings we hiked to the top of the peak near the trail and watched the sunrise and shine on the Chisos mountains. At first I was bummed I was unable to snag us a site in the Chisos, but the ambiance, the kind park rangers, amazing views, and so many other things made me so content and happy that I booked the RGV! 10/10 recommend!

Great night skies! Never saw any javelinas but did see plenty of coyotes. Highly recommend the Boquillas crossing into Mexico. Just a neat experience. The road to the hot springs is rough but also worth the trip!

Peaceful stay over Christmas site. 48 backs up to greenery and even though you technically share a driveway with 49, it's plenty of space no issues.

Incredible! I thought I knew what we were getting into and I was blown away. The park rangers were so awesome and helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Boquilla Canyon trail was so serene and the hike was easy. We ended our trip with a visit to the hot springs it was a perfect way to wrap up our stay.

Nice campground, friendly camp hosts, great nature trail with a perfect spot for sunrise/sunset. Coyotes are a bit of a nuisance, but that starry sky can't be beat.

We stayed for two nights at this campsite. Our site was easy to find and pull into. Campground and bathrooms were kept clean. We enjoyed our time camping here. Although not site hookups, the water and dump station was close by for convenience.

Great place, but overcrowded and poorly maintained with regard to the property itself. All the trees are dying due to lack of irrigation and rain. The beauty of the area is greatly diminished from a few decades ago. Way too many tents allowed on each site, up to 4, and it feels like a ghetto rather than campground. Most campers come for just a few days making it very difficult to make longer term reservations, as it is very popular.
