Gorgeous campground nestled into the Chisos Mountains. Sites had bear boxes to secure belongings and ample flat space to pitch a tent or two. Bathrooms were a short walk away and were heated plus the buildings had a sink for washing dishes. It’s also super close to a ton of trailheads for amazing hikes. Highly recommend staying here while in Big Bend NP.

Very much enjoyed "Coffee with a Ranger" - held some Saturday mornings.
Up Laguna Meadows -> South Rim -> Emory Peak -> down Pinnacles Trail is the BEST (LONG) DAY HIKE IN TEXAS.

A beautiful campsite, set and setting. Right in the area of the park you want to be. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Signs need to be placed on the doors of the dishwashing stations. Signs on faucets need to indicate location of dishwashing stations. During the week, I ran into multiple people who had no knowledge of the dishwashing stations and were using the faucets.

Great views and great location diagonal from the bathrooms and water. Resident fox still holds true and a skunk strolled through our campground the first night

I stayed for 5 days tent camping in site 29. The views were amazing and I liked that it was on the end of the row. The parking for this site was awkward and my car got dinged in the middle of the night which set off the car alarm. Damage luckily was minor. The sites offer no privacy and conversations from all nearby sites are easily overheard. A crying baby in a nearby site kept me awake for two nights. Bathrooms were not cleaned daily and were left without toilet paper in some of the stalls. Camp hosts were very nice. I love the park though and had a week of fantastic hiking.

No cell service or wifi. No shower facility. Nevertheless, great views all around and complete peacefulness.
