Nice scenery the employees was cool but only down fall is the restrooms and pools are always dirty. Pool doesn’t get cleaned or shocked. Stayed there a week and never maintained. Which sucks cause apart of the fee that I pay for the week also include use of the pool that stayed dirty. The bathrooms no matter what time of the day either early in the morning / throughout the day and evening bathrooms are pretty bad. Really the only down fall is the bathrooms and pool other than that nice place I would come here again.

We had an incredible stay at Lake Buchanan RV & Cabin Resort this past weekend! Our family made the trip from San Antonio to Burnet, and this location was perfect—just minutes from both Inks Lake State Park and Longhorn Cavern State Park, which made exploring the area easy and convenient.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and truly attentive. The LB RV & Cabin Resort itself is very well maintained. The playground and horseshoe area were both in great condition, and we loved the spacing between sites with trees and grass that gave it a more private, comfortable feel.

Hookups were simple and efficient, and our pull-through site was level, making setup quick and stress-free. The amenities—including the clubhouse and pool—were clean, well kept, and added to the overall experience.

One thing that really stood out was the hospitality. The staff graciously allowed us a late checkout on Easter Sunday so we could watch our church service, which meant a lot to our family.

Overall, this is a top-notch RV resort with great amenities, a beautiful setting, and outstanding service. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Burnet area!

We stayed at this campground for 8 months. I was told at the beginning of my stay to manually pay my bill online each month. So you can imagine my surprise when my card was auto debited. I asked, after that, for them NOT to auto run my card. Several times after that email, I was still auto charged. Then, for March first, we were auto charged again and I called to discuss that we would be leaving on the 7th and that we needed to update the reservation AND get the remaining balance from what they automatically charged returned to us. When they updated the reservation I was told they had refunded me the balance and it would be on my card “in a few days” 7 days later, it’s still not on there. The current office staff said that the system shows I owe an additional $360 for my “new” reservation and they can’t see an amount for a refund. So, I followed the links to the website for the “main” business and gave them a call. The co-owner called me back and was no more helpful than the current office staff. She told me I didn’t communicate, I got charged the daily rate and even though I was told when the reservation was updated that my refund would be processed to my card “in a few days” that they weren’t going to process it until i checked out and it would take a few days to process it.

OTHER than this debacle and the multiple times my card was auto charged AFTER i asked them not to do it, the resort is nice and the park managers had been helpful, especially with my mischievous teen boy.

First time camping here and immediately felt like home, we spent Thanksgiving week and enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal with the RV guests and really enjoyed it. Our RV site location was easy to access with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Can't wait to come back during the summer and enjoy the lake.
