Rockaway RV Park

We’ve been coming to Rockaway RV Park for over six years, and it has become one of our favorite places to visit. The calm, peaceful atmosphere, the relaxing RV spots by the water, and the wonderful people are what keep us coming back year after year. Annette and Mike are always so kind, welcoming, and willing to help with anything you need. They genuinely care about everyone who stays at the park and go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

The park is well maintained, quiet, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s hard to find a place with such a welcoming atmosphere, and Annette and Mike play a big part in making it so special. We always look forward to our trips here and highly recommend Rockaway RV Park to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Mike was an awesome host at the park and unfortunately, his wife was out of town. The park is very quiet. The only drawback is there's a road that runs parallel and a cattle guard right by the last few spots which can be noisy at times due to increased traffic. Well maintained restrooms and a store that you can pick up some odd and ends. Great place right off the water, with many locations in the area to see beautiful landscapes and wildflowers this time of year. Black rock park was closed due to a celebration of life, but it's right down the road and is a nice option for day use woth larger groups.

This was probably the greatest one night stay we have experienced, The views are incredible also your about 50 steps to the shore.
The hosts are incredibly nice people and are always making certain that your stay is meeting your expectations .
If needed, the bathrooms are air-conditioned very clean , no need to bring toys they have those amenities waiting for you… Even fire pits !

I've been all over the country, stayed in some pretty amazing places, and i got to tell you that this is one of my favorite places. The view of the river/lake is perfect, the aesthetics and nature of the setup is genius, and the hosts, Mike and Annette, made this one of the most memorable stays I've had over the years of full timing in my coach. Thank you for the great time, and making me feel welcome. I will be back!

Rockaway RV Park in Burnet was such a great experience! The place was spotless — you can tell they really care about keeping everything clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly the whole time, which was a big plus. Waking up to that beautiful view of the lake every morning was amazing! It was such a peaceful, relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to everyone we know!
