Clean campground, clean bathrooms, great lake views. Sites are not level, unfortunately. Took some work to level out! Lots of deer around. No issues with the power tower.

Nice quiet park. Level pad. Lake is low but we weren’t there for boating or fishing so it wasn’t a problem. Spent most of our time in San Antonio.

The sites are good sized -- beware of the inner loop has larger slope so be prepared to use leveling blocks.
Restroom is FANTASTIC - hot showers & heated.
Be aware there is a gate that closes at 9 pm, so if y'all wanna go out later in nearby Georgetown, y'all gonna walk home from the gate!

This place was simply awesome. Not only was it quiet, but it is well maintained, small number of sites, and lots of room between the sites. The camp hosts were actually the highlights of the visit - super friendly, informative, and so helpful. The lake was low due to the 2 year drought, but there was still enough water to know you were lakeside and there is plenty of open space for a great walk or bike ride. We were there in January which was perfect as the campground was only half full and super quiet. The water was consistent in pressure and the electric service was 125v on both legs of the 50 amp service. My only complaint - and this is kind of nitpicking - is that most of the sites have a grade to them. In our 43ft motorhome, the front of the coach was nearly off its tires to be level. We simply went on Recreation.gov and changed to a more level site, and it was perfect. Highly recommended.

I have 2 dogs with me and I follow the rules by keeping them on a lease and picking up their poop. That is is not the case with everyone. People with large dogs don’t pick up after their dogs. This practice is filthy. Rules of the campground are meant for everyone. This park is a beautiful park and I enjoy camping here. The park staff are friendly and helpful. San Antonio is close plus there is lots of things to do. I have visited this park for the past eight years. I will be back.
