Another fine COE campground on south shore of Canyon Lake with easy access. Small, <30 RV sites (tent loop is closed). Relatively new, mostly level concrete pads with hooded picnic area. Nice heated bath houses. Canyon Lake area is pretty, small towns, shops, restaurants within 5-10 miles. Major shopping (Spring Branch, San Marcos) is 20+ miles away. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. Good Verizon and ATT coverage (3 bars).

This was our first trip in our new RV. We arrived late and the person at the gate was very helpful. Finding our spot was easy and getting set up was quick. The evening was quiet, neighbors were mindful of quiet hours, and the space between neighbors was fine. The next day, there was plenty of activity. All dogs were on leashes and over all our experience was great! We can’t wait to go back!

Cranes Mill park is a great RV Park. We have a 40' motorhome, but there are sites for all sizes including parking a towed vehicle. You will have an excellent view of Canyon Lakes, very quiet, and great dark skies at night. Water and Electric worked well. No sewers but there is an excellent dump station on the way out. We had a good ATT signal for data and voice.
There are lots of restaurants and shopping in a 15 mile radius, and more if you want to go into San Antonio. Even a Camping World in near by New Baunfels.
Only drawback for us was visiting relatives in the area. The gate closed at 9pm, so we had to be back in time, no late entry.

The campsites are well maintained and the area is very clean. The volunteer staff was on his game and listen to me about the restroom issues. The other restroom that was not down for repairs due to a septic issue had no water pressure in the showers. The toilets and sinks hand water pressure.
