Very clean and open park. We brought small campers. The spots could easily fit the 14' tall 40' long fifth wheels. Each site has a picnic table that has a very sturdy canopy. Great showers and restroom. Convenient boat launch and fishing pier. The best part is the staff is super friendly.

Out of 5 parks where we camped on our recent 17 day camping trip, this was the most peaceful. Our site was perfect and so was the view. It was only 30 minutes from Gruene.

RV loop campsites where we stayed were great. Folks at the entry gate were helpful, I'm just really surprised that the Tent sites are all closed even with weather still warm and good fishing...

small park, sites next to the lake are the best, love the picnic tables, not falling apart, covered and clean. Will stay here again.

Very good! I especially like the distance between the sites. It would be nice if Cranes Mill offered WiFi. I don't think it would be expensive. Question: There seem to be MANY more open sites than are indicated on the Cranes Mill Web site. Why is that?

Great campground! Campground spaces are far enough apart to give each one privacy. Beautiful location on the lake.

Great location next to the water. Great covered picnic area at the site with long pull-through parking. Would come back during the warmer season to enjoy all the activities around the area.

We had a great visit to Crane's Mill in our RV staying at Site 12. The side is level, and the passenger side looks out to the lake. The sites are spread out, and we did not feel like we were close to the adjacent sites. Other than check-in which went very easily, we did not interact with the staff except to wave as they drove by. This is a great place to stay in your RV, so don't hesitate to book here.

Great central location for things to see and do in Texas hill country.
We visited during hunting season and most of the peninsula (except rv sites 1-30) was off limits for pedestrians and vehicles. Check hunt dates if that is a problem for you.
