Overall, the park was excellent. Very clean and we’ll managed. Also, very quiet. Lot’s of deer in and around the campground. We really enjoyed our stay.
Restrooms could be maintained and cleaned more frequently, but not the worst we have seen.
We will stay at COE campgrounds a lot more in the future.

Weeds were very high at our campsite as well as at all of the campsites. Fire ring was clean, bathrooms were clean. Nice separation between campsites. Beautiful lake.

Good campground with fairly asphalt pads and water/electric. The location is great for day trips to the larger cities. There are plenty of options near by for groceries/gas/etc. The grass at both ACE campgrounds (Cranes Mill & Potters Creek) on Canyon lake were uncut. Mowing was being done at the camp hosts spots but nowhere else. We would stay here again.

We loved Cranes Mill. It’s clean and very pretty. The pavement made a nice walking track fir us to take our morning and evening walks. Town is only a few miles away with everything you need. The camp sponsors were also very nice and very helpful. We’ll be staying again.

We visited in early November of 2021 and found that this park was easy to get a spot. This COE park was spacious with cement pads and a dump station. Power (up to 50 amps) and water only at the site. Be aware that the dump station was sloped which may cause a tank to not completely empty. Plenty of room between sites and to park extra or tow vehicles.

Beautiful park with great views from almost every site. Clean shower house with great water pressure. Very quiet.

We stayed 4 days in early November, 2021. Not a very big park and tent loop was closed. Close to Canyon Lake, TX where there are several good eating places. The gate attendants were friendly and helpful. I have to say that the restrooms were probable the nicest and cleanest of any COE campground we have ever been to. The only
reason I did not rate this park a 5-star was that the grass and weeds. They needed to be mowed but for some reason were just allowed to go to seed. We will be back to this park next summer.

We travel in a 40' motorhome, towing a Jeep. Access to the park and camping sites was easy, Roads and all sites are paved and in great condition. Water and electric worked great, and we used the dump station on the way out. The area was quiet, the lake was scenic, and about 12 miles from all the amenities you might want in New Braunfels. Our ATT cell service had only a couple of bars but worked well. Very dark skies for stargazing. The sites can be a bit out of level for a longer rig, so be prepared. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
