What Guests Are Saying
North Park is praised for its beauty, cleanliness, and helpful staff, making it a great destination for family trips. However, concerns have been raised about the transition to a Day Use Park, safety issues due to open gates and lack of supervision, and the prevalence of sticker burrs. Some visitors feel the park's quality has declined in recent years, particularly regarding security and maintenance.

This is an absolutely great place to camp at canyon lake. Super friendly staff and peaceful spot to get away. It’s a great place for divers and nice for fishing too. There are boat rental places nearby for fun and plenty activities. Also love that there are stores and food nearby if necessary. I highly recommend this site if your looking to camp and have a blast!

Staff at the gate are super friendly and provide excellent orientation at check-in. Campsites have good BBQ rills, some with fire pits. Minimal latrine facility diminishes the experience as there is only one for the whole park.
