What Guests Are Saying
Potters Creek Park is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with large, spacious sites and clean facilities, including highly praised bathrooms and showers. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the park's scenic views, making it a great spot for camping and exploring the Hill Country. While some areas of the park lack shade and the lake levels are low, overall experiences have been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The one complaint I have is that the restrooms are awful. They were very dim and hot and were regularly out of toilet paper. They were not kept clean and were not cleaned well when the cleaners did come. The men’s smelled like a football team urinated everywhere and the women’s was covered in toilet paper where nasty people threw it on the floor.

Very clean and quiet. Felt like home away from home. Nice staff, already booked another reservation.

Abundance of aggressive ants present at campsite. No sewer connection at campsites forced us to use public shower and restrooms. No problem with that except they were not cleaned the entire week we were there, and we were there during one of the busiest weeks of the year, Fourth of July. Along with not being cleaned, toilet paper wasn't replenished, so we had to bring our own. Lighting in the restroom/shower was extremely dim. One urinal was missing and just a pipe was exposed. Only thing good I can say is the place was inexpensive. However, I'll pay more to stay somewhere else next time. Too many other options available to subject ourselves to this place.

Great place to camp other than the bathrooms really needed cleaning. The people they contract out to need to be fired!

The spaces are very large and nice tables, fire rings and hookups but the site wasn't very clean when we arrived. The bathroom was filthy the entire time we were there. I guess there was no one to clean the facilities on a holiday but that's when it needed it the most. This is about our fourth time visiting Potter's Creek and have noticed the couple at the entrance are not very friendly or helpful. We have family members that are over the age of 50 that frequently stay at this park and feel the staff are friendly but for those of us under 50 they have been rude each time. Overall a nice park but not our favorite.

Wonderful camp and staff were so helpful, professional, and ran the camp in such a positive manner.
The lake was low, but we still enjoyed it, along with watching deer, birds especially hummingbirds that came to visit our camper.

Really nice park. Pretty clean grounds despite not seeing many staff workers. Restrooms are clean with plenty of hot water. Sites are very spacious.

No feeding the wildlife in the park. Do NOT attempt to interact with the wild life. Some are protective of their territory, homes, dens, food and young. If you encroach on their space, they may become aggressive.
