Double Lake camping spots were roomy and clean. The lake views were awesome, and we caught and released a bunch of fish off shrimp and worms. The only drawback is that there is no dump station that we could find, but it does tell you no dump station.

Great for young toddlers. Nice 1-1 1/4 paved loop for biking and walking around the lake. Very quiet campground with attentive staff. Clean bathrooms.

Nice campgrounds. Very quiet and peaceful. The restrooms near our site were shut down which was inconvenient but there was another a little further down. Looks like lots of empty buildings on site. Not sure if they are camping amenities but all were closed. Maybe because its early Spring or due to Covid-19. Over all we really enjoyed our stay.

Loved this campground and can’t wait to go back! The staff were all so helpful and friendly, and the trails were beautiful! Verizon gets terrible service there but we were there to camp so I didn’t really care much about that. And the best part was that even though most of the sites were filled the campground didn’t feel overcrowded. We will definitely be going back, and hopefully very soon!

It was an absolutely beautiful, well laid out state park. Path around the lake was great and hiking trails were wonderful. The park officials were really helpful and watched the park for safety and service. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Nice quiet area, restrooms cleaned daily. Our site was right on the lake to put kayaks in and fish. Great stay.

Beautiful campground in the forest. When we went there in mid-March some of the restrooms and other amenities were closed, maybe due to COVID or maybe the season. Everyone there seemed very respectful of the rules. No one was too loud. Campgrounds nicely spaced apart and campsite was great! We did enjoy the hike to the scenic area trailhead on the Lone Star Hiking Trail, and my husband enjoyed the biking trails. Sadly, we had to leave a day early due to heavy rains in the forecast.
