Double Lakes is a wonderful place to camp. Trails and lake views are very nice. Private spots and lots of quiet.

Pro: campground and bathrooms were very clean and maintained.
Con: campground host let his Belgian Malinois dog run off leash the whole 5 days we were there. The dog charged us aggressively and threateningly twice, until I was nervous about walking in the campground. Please take care of this before someone gets hurt.

Love the park. Camp hosts are amazing. Sites have plenty of shade to help beat the heat. Bike trails are not for faint at heart but fun. One of my favorite parks.

First time here and was very disappointed in the shape of the lake and grounds poison ivy and oak all along the hiking trails and a stray cat living in the woods kept stealing are food the lake needs so much attention...

We have been coming to Double Lakes since our children were young, basically for about 25 years and we always stay at our usual site 62. The area is always clean. The bathrooms were spotless, which says a lot with all the spiders crawling around lol..The hosts driving around were so friendly. We can’t wait to come back again

We stayed mid-week so campground was very quiet. A few things felt like they could use some TLC but overall we enjoyed our stay. We were unable to see many pictures so did not know what to expect. We did not use the restrooms or showers so can't comment on those buildings.

I really appreciated that the camp host came by to check on us as we got there and provided us any information we needed. Great place to camp!

We stay at this park several times of the year and we really enjoy our stay each time. The only downside is the poor cell reception which is great for disconnecting from the digital world,
