This campground has really changed in attitude in the past 8 or 10 months. They used to be so friendly and helpful not so much now. It seems to annoy most of the gate personnel when you come in or have a question. Also wonder why if they are full the don't open the other spacs that they have. Must be laziness on corps part

Great, peaceful place with a friendly staff.
Pros:
close camping to lake, within 20 ft. Great view of lake, sunset and sunrise. Peaceful environment.
Cons:
High Grass with thorns uncut. Dead fish pieces on camping area. Remember that not everyone that comes here has a camping trailer, some use tents, I included.

Super campground with fishing and lake access. Nice covered picnic tables and level sites. Close to Comanche which is a cool town to visit.

We nice spot. It was considered a double but site 59 had 1-50amp and 1-30amp. We both have 2 ACs which take 50 amp but weather was good and didn’t need the extra ac
