Beautiful view of the lake and not many Rv spots in that small area, only one problem is it’s a little ways away from the water.

Let me state up front, we do not travel with a boat.
If we did, perhaps we'd have enjoyed Copperas Creek more. The boating facilities are extraordinary. From what we observed, fishing is also excellent.
Site 58 is a great one. Excellent view, decent privacy, level and close to the bathroom/shower building.
Upon arriving, there was no one at the gate, no sign. A conundrum.
We proceeded to our site then called the park's phone number. No answer, no message service. On our third day we saw someone at the gate and approached. They were friendly, but largely silent on the issue of no coverage on our arrival day. Fine with us.
Overall, this is a fairly typical COE park. Water and electrical hookups, dump station on-site. And, like others, this one has very spread out loops.
Verizon coverage was nuthin' but AT&T was very good.

The park was nice and clean, park staff was very friendly. The campsites are nice sized and lots of places to fish from the bank or the fishing pier. There are no walking/hiking trails at this park, they say there is on the website. Was nice place to walk thru the campgrounds.

If you are wanting to truly get away this is the place to go and I say this because we have Verizon cell phones and you can only get text and phone calls no data service. Also good luck with a TV signal, so if the weather is bad and you have to stay in your camper make sure you have a DVD player. The staff at the park are very friendly and helpful they make you feel at home. The facilities all worked and were clean nice place to go will be revisiting when the weather is nicer. There is also a nice Mexican restaurant just outside the park.
