We just stayed one night to break up our trip home, but very nice park. Good location and easy to get in and out. Nice sites, hookups, and restrooms. Would definitely stop here again.

Sunset was gorgeous. The Hostess, Ashley was very friendly and spent some time talking with us at our campsite. Would definitely stay there again.

This my friends, is an excellent site to just get away from city life. Rent yourself an RV or camper, load it up and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature. Imagine an early morning cup of your fav. Sitting in chair as the warm yellow sun rises up over the horizon. Your favorite someone by your side all smiles in a peaceful atmosphere. PRICELESS MEMORIES!!!

I normally do not take the time to post online reviews. However, Chadd and Ashley are the living definition of Texas hospitality. I personally prefer smaller RV sites, and the Republic of Texas is a perfect size to allow Chadd and Ashley to meet and connect with their guests. The office has a great porch on 3-sides for sitting and visiting; behind the office is a beautiful meadow for exercising your dog; and if you have children, there is a fabulous playground next to the office. If you are in central Texas, then take the time to drive to Comanche and experience real Texas hospitality.

I am thrilled to share my positive experience at the Republic of Texas Campground in Comanche, Texas. My search for a safe, quiet, and pet-friendly RV Park led me to this hidden gem, and I can confidently say that it has exceeded all my expectations.
Chadd and Ashley, the dedicated owners of the campground, have been incredibly attentive throughout our stay, ensuring that we have everything we need. The cleanliness of the facilities is impressive, and the addition of a beautiful pond for dog walks adds to the overall charm of the park.
During our extended stay as we build in the area, we encountered an unexpected visitor. When I reached out to Ashley for advice on nearby accommodations, she went above and beyond to secure a fantastic spot for our guest.
Safety is a top priority at Republic of Texas Campground, evident through their well-maintained security cameras that keep a vigilant eye on the park's entrances, providing peace of mind to all guests.
One standout aspect is the sense of community fostered by the park. Monthly buffets hosted by Chadd and Ashley create a wonderful opportunity for guests to come together, share experiences, and build lasting connections.
Moreover, the campgrounds strategic location just outside the gateway to the hill country adds to its appeal. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas while providing a serene and secure environment to return to.
In summary, my time at the Republic of Texas Campground has been nothing short of fantastic. Chadd and Ashley commitment to excellence, coupled with the campground's amenities and sense of community, make it a truly exceptional place to stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful RV experience in this beautiful region.
