Sowell Creek is praised for its friendly staff, cleanliness, and beautiful lake views, making it a favorite spot for families and friends. Many guests highlight the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, with positive experiences during multiple visits. However, some concerns were raised about low-hanging tree branches and occasional electrical issues, but these did not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the stay.

Overall the camping area is wonderful! The only thing I found concerning was that the bathroom by the gate were often not clean as people apparently did not realize there is a button on the wall to flush the toilets. The same bathrooms were out of toilet paper one evening while there and were locked as it got later instead of having toilet paper replaced. I enjoyed my camping experience and will definitely be back in the future!
