The only thing I don’t like is the online booking it’s a pain in the but. The parcel is quite and peaceful.

An important thing to know about Juniper Point is that there is an East Campground and a West Campground. The East campsites have access to the lake for swimming near many of the camp sites. This camp site (D07, Loop D) is in the West side of Juniper Point park, and it has limited access to the water. You would have to navigate huge boulders on a steep cliff-like area to get down to the water. There is a nearby boat ramp within walking distance and a small beach area next to that that is again blocked off by lots of rocks. This is not a good camping spot for swimming or kayaking/paddle boarding. You could not park your boat near your site. It is, however, a GORGEOUS, generously sized RV camping spot with great views of the lake and sunset (we camped in June), a pristine concrete pad with picnic table and fire pit with grilltop that pivots out of the way if needed, nice grassy areas, and partial shade. It feels very private. We will definitely reserve this spot again in the fall. We'll have to go to the East side next time for swimming.

This campground allows way too many people and tents per site. We were surrounded by 3 sites that had as man cars as they could fit on the concrete part of their site along with the parking on the road. 4-5 tents per camp and more than a dozen kids running around screaming. Not the pleasant vacation I was hoping for.
