Juniper Point has always been our favorite weekend getaway! However, something has changed? We never see the attendants. We were always greeted by Loyd or Sharon upon our arrival to the campsite. We would then be given our camping tag and proceed to our site. The last two weekends in a row. Last weekend, we noticed some were dumping their gray water on the ground. There has been a lot more cars that block the roads, which makes it difficult for people to get thru with their RV's. This weekend, People were blaring their music late at night. Our electric was out for close to 3 hrs on Saturday and then again on Sunday morning for about an hour. Fire pits are full of trash. I spoke with another camper, he stated that the new camp host was rude to him and asked him "where is your Camping tag!" He stated that no one was there to give him one. I said the same thing! for the last two weekends we have not seen or heard from anyone. I even think that there was campers who had no reservations staying in the park. It seems that no rules are being enforced like before. It makes me feel a bit un-easy about our safety and security. I try to book for every weekend, however, I may just finish out the remainder of the time I have booked and look for another camp ground to go to.

We stayed from Tuesday afternoon through Friday morning and area was very quiet. The overall campground was clean with our campsite having minimal trash-corn cob, soap box, bottle caps. We did not use the vault toilets nor the bathhouse that was on a hill behind the campground. We were there for three nights and did not see the camp hosts but a storm came through on the third afternoon and when we walked later that day, we saw evidence that a tree had fallen across the road and had been sawed and removed.

Our family had a great week of camping at Juniper Point East. The lake was a little high due to heavy rains earlier in the summer, but Mother Nature can't be controlled. Bathrooms were clean, overall the park was clean. The park attendant was very friendly. We have camped at Juniper Point East in the past and will definitely be going back.
