Half the campground was under water. Several amenities weren’t available because of flooding including beach, boat ramp, several campsites and no communication was made to let this be known before our arrival. The reason we chose this spot was because it was right on the beach…well not so much! Also, had to take the boat across the street to launch which would be no problem but the parking is awful and there is room for maybe 3 trailers before you can’t turn to get down the launch. Which is also flooded so picking up your trailer person isn’t easy. We were told to park back across the street and have him swim out to the boat…super convenient. We get the high waters but perhaps some information could be sent out letting people know the state of the campground so we could decide if we wanted to come. The camp host was shocked people weren’t canceling…well can’t cancel when you don’t know! We have stayed on the west side in the fall and my only complaint was the very unlevel sites. East and West both have very UN level sites.

Had a great vacation at the Lake. I have camped at other sites before and did not feel welcomed. I always am greeted and feel welcome by Sharon and Lloyd when we arrive at the lake. My grandchildren really enjoy the lake safety booklets given to them by Lloyd. Our campsite was clean upon arrival. We had a really bad storm the night before we checked out, and it was really nice that Lloyd came the next morning to check on all of the campers. The thing I love most about Juniper Point is the great Customer service of the Park attendee's. I will continue to return over and over again to this campground because of them.

The last two times we've been there the sewer clean out station is very slow to drain. We left a note the first time at the host site but it was still an issue this time as well.

Overall the stay was great...just not when time to leave.

Beautiful view! Camp sites were nice. The shower house could be improved on & moves closer to the campsites, but over all not bad. All sites have a picnic table and a fire ring and a state park style bbq grill. Some of the sites have a covered table area. We will be visiting this area again!

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
