What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

We had a campsite on the B side of the campground with beautiful views of the lake. The site was large and easily accessed.

Platter Flats campground is one of my family's favorite Campgrounds! Most sites are spacious, shady and have a great view of the water. Not to mention, it's a very close walk to the beach to swim, kayak or fish. The campground is clean and so are the restrooms and shower. Just be aware that the gate closes at 10pm. My family arrived after midnight after my son's football game out of town. We had to park outside the gate and walk to our campsite. It was a short walk and thankfully-- we had already come earlier in the day to set up camp with our rv. Then we woke up around 7am and moved our 2 vehicles to our campsite (gates open at 6am). So no big deal. It's a wonderful spot to tak3 kayaks out. There are lots of coves and close beaches to explore. I highly recommend Platter to anyone!

We absolutely love staying at Platter, mainly because of Cindy! She's an asset the campground needed!! The last two years it's been a much cleaner and WELCOMING campground with her here. The bathrooms are cleaner than any other! I even stop by here when we're just out on the lake for the day in the boat. The only thing that could make this place better is more 50 amp pads and full hook-ups.
If you're an equestrian, this is a great campground with corrals for your horses and trails to ride!!
