The lake was pretty and I liked the location. There was no attendant on duty the weekend we went. There was someone parked in my campsite that I reserved, I had to go to every other campsite to ask them to move the vehicles that were in my spot. With no attendant on duty, there was no one there to enforce the amount of cars or campers at a campsite. No one there to control the noise, so we had other campers playing their music loud until earlier into the morning.

Big area for kids to swim. Fishing everywhere on the lake. A large covered table for special occasions.

Grass was over grown in areas near the swimming area. It looked as if it was in poor care.

Older campground but clean. Didn’t get a chance to check out the bathroom or shower. Misunderstanding about our reserved spot (previous campers said they paid for the weekend or something) but was immediately upgraded to a better spot. Swimming area nice. Thirty minutes from home so great quick weekend get away. Definitely returning.

The park needs an overall cleanup and upgrade. The pull through site we were at needed the wooden ground dividers replaced and there was a broken down old bbq pit that should have been disposed of (*a newer one had been installed)
On the positive side, the park hosts and staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
