Grass is very tall and road desperately needs repairs. The view is great if you get a waterfront site. But the sites are close together.

Nice, clean, and quiet. Freshly mowed. We did not have an advance reservation. You must use the website for reservations as no attendant was at the gate. The online reservation was quick and easy as we sat at the front gate. Numbers for sites are a little difficult to see. Use the park map to help find your site. We stayed at #24 not knowing the layout. It is on a slope. When we stop for the night we usually don’t unhook the fifth wheel. Thankfully our head was uphill! No problem with hooking up electricity or water. We will definitely stay again if passing through the area.

The park was decent, however the site seemed to have some sort of electrical issues. While it is a 30 amp site, and I have a 50 Amp Camper, this site seemed to trip the breaker more than others I've been in. We could only run 1 AC at a time, even on the lowest settings, which has not been the case in other sites. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of if you are using this site.

Our trip to Mott Park was pleasant. The Park Rangers were great too. Very nice and respectful to the campers.

This was my first experience at Mott’s sites. While I always enjoy myself camping, unfortunately, my first experience above all was great but unfortunately, the facility was quite unkept. Unfortunately the ENTIRE site was about a foot tall with grass and weeds. I was told Mott has a contract with a mowing company and unfortunately because of weather, they were not able to mow, but nothing was disclosed to any campers. The Rangers did go out the previous day, knowing there was a full weekend of campers ahead and mow patches, as well as a walking path down to fish but unfortunately, wasn’t really what I had in mind. I went with my parents, grandmother, brother, and other half. Myself and my other half were in a tent, but the rest were in a 45 foot RV. Unfortunately the trees were very overgrown and the turns for the entrances to the sites are very sharp. The sites are definitely not made for big RVs Enjoyed myself and made the best of the weekend! Weather turned out beautiful! Other than failure of human upkeep with trees and grass the park was quaint and beautiful!

The bathrooms outside and inside have tons of bugs and spiders, and yes we are camping but you would think the places that you do your personal things could be sprayed for bugs etc a couple times a week!
