There could have been trash cans in or near the camping site.

Just a nice location and park. Had some people that want to camp but blare music until about 10pm which I don’t get. Was kind of annoying for those of us who came for peace and quiet.

It was great to see Staff and familiar campers there. Also, a herd of about 12 deer welcomed me up by where the bathroom was early in the morning. They are so beautiful. They are always around somewhere in the park.
Only thing I missed was seeing the Park Rangers… love sharing stories with them. A great place to be!

We camped at Murrell Park recently — me, my son, and my nephews — and had an awesome experience. The campground is really well-kept, and the facilities were nice overall. I do wish the bathrooms were a little cleaner, but honestly, it wasn’t a deal-breaker.
The trails are perfect for light hiking. Nothing extreme — great for beginners, families, or anyone with bad knees like me. The scenery is beautiful, and there are several spots along the trail where you get amazing views of the lake and can snap some great nature photos.
Our campsite itself was fantastic. We had a great view of the lake right from our site, which made the whole trip even better. If you like fishing, definitely bring your poles — we were able to catch some bass and had a blast.
Each campsite comes with a covered picnic table, a grill, and a fire pit, which made cooking super convenient. There’s also plenty of space between sites, so it doesn’t feel crowded or noisy. One thing missing is an elevated hook for hanging trash and the number sign was missing on our spot.
Overall, Murrell Park is a great spot for camping, hiking, and fishing, and we’ll definitely be going back soon. Highly recommend it! 🌲🎣🔥

I highly recommend and enjoyed this park. To be all within city limits and feel like you're in the middle of no where was everything one could need.
Meet some really cool fellow campers and so the most deer close up than ever. Very respectful park rangers and workers...
You see how I haven't even mentioned the amazing views yet. Well let me tell you. They were heavenly... I'll see yall there soon
