We had a lot of trouble checking into a site that people were living in an Enclosed trailer that had to be moved from another individual! The site was too small for our Class A motorhome and decided to relocate. That’s when everything got very difficult the gate keeper cancelled or reservation and tried to switch locations but couldn’t do it after I tried 10 times to do it! Gatekeeper was really frustrated at everything going on around her along with my added concerns! I finally tried again to secure a site and was successful. We settled in to Campsite #24 then after we went to bed someone banging on my door saying I was in their campsite. I showed them my receipt and he moved on! At this point I do not know what I have been charged and feel your gatekeepers should have more control over these types of situations! Our check in process took almost four hours to complete, that really was stressful. Please try to do better. Willem

This ACE campground underwhelmed us. Sites are a bit closer together than is typical at these parks. Most sites were not level and pretty narrow but the covered paved picnic space at each site is huge. Most sites, besides lakeside sites, are fully shaded by cedar trees.
One area has permanent residents but their sites seem well maintained. The rest of the park…. Not so much. The facilities were in poor shape and trash could be found thru out the campground. Especially where the dumpster were located. There was also an abandoned class A camper and pontoon boat by the fishing dock. No groundskeeper were seen at any point during the weekend.
The campground itself was quiet and it was nice to see access to a (mostly) paved bike path about 1 mile outside the park. The hiking trail, accessible via campground, is fully shaded but also full of rough rocks. If allergic to poison ivy, keep your eyes open: there is plenty all over.
Check in was easy, there was no one available when checking out. Keep & have available your confirmation email: it has the gate code to the campground, located after entering into the park.
I understand this used to be a great park.

Nice quiet park for the most part. Ladies at the gate were friendly and helpful. There were some campers that came in on Saturday and played music pretty loud (5 sites away from ours) which was annoying. Glad our bedroom A/C is loud and able to drown it out.
Site was level and everything worked like it should.

Very nice clean campground. The great thing about a COE campground is everything works. We were in site 024. A level site close to the bathroom. Bathrooms were clean.

Beautiful lake views and quiet location for camping. We always enjoy our time at Cedar Breaks Park. Also close to downtown Georgetown with nice restaurant choices and fun shops.

Great park but it needs a little TLC on grounds and facility maintenance. I’d definitely come back.

Unfortunately this park has really gone downhill. The restrooms are unkept, shelters have hardly any shingles left and leak rain horribly. Park staff is quick to point out they are volunteers but they should at least have some pride in their park and try and keep it nice looking. Half of the volunteers campsites look like homeless encampments. It used to be such a nice park.

The park is very nice, well groomed sites, lots of trees on the loop we stayed in, sites have picnic tables on a large covered pad. We had a view of the lake from our site but it was several feet down a cliff to the water. Racoons pay visits to sites that leave food out, don't feed the animals. The RV parking areas are very narrow and many have elevation differences to watch out for, but hey it's camping. The restrooms and showers weren't the cleanest I've seen; the sinks, toilets, and urinals are stainless steel that could use a good scrubbing more often. Showers were pretty clean but the fixtures show signs of old age and water deposits and the dressing area doesn't have a privacy curtain. Camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. It is a good place to stay and the price is good too, we stayed about two weeks and the place is on our list of possible return visits.
