The Campground was great. The reservation system needs improvement. The trees need trimming in the sites for big rigs not to get scratches when parking.

Nice park, water, electric, and dump station. Our view was of lake, nice but no trees. Sites away from lake view has trees and would take those next time.

The grass surrounding our camp spot was over shoulder high and with it that high brings snakes! Even at the camp site it was between ankle and calf high. With the camp hosts there they should have been able to cut the grass. And OMG the bathrooms were completely disgusting!!!. The trails were too high of grass to watch out for snakes and we had to clean out tables the concrete. It could have been better. And the number we are given to call NO ONE ANSWERS

Seems as though this park is in a rapid decline. Holiday weekend, most if not all sites overgrown with weeds. Upon arrival trash everywhere in my site. Had to wash my pad and picnic table down before I could use it. Lack of host presence, only to check my senior pass. Little to no enforcement of rule violations. Pets off leash, children of leash blocking roads, stopping traffic. You would think with multiple price increases over the last few years COE parks could do a better job!

The reservation site needs some TLC - trying to change a reservation once our stay started didn't work for me. I had a to book a new reservation and it changed ,my existing one, but aside from that, the campground was clean, quiet, staff was friendly and unlike here in CA, they just let you be. The price was right, both sites were great and my daughter and son in law and grandbaby who live in Georgetown came out for their first stay. My daughter want to make it an annual trip now so we will see you all next May! Thank you for having this great location available to us!
