Care must be taken as some of the RV sites are poorly maintained, and the edges of the site have steep drop offs. This circumstance caused my wife to fall and significantly injured her shoulder.

Park employees are super nice and helpful. The park and restrooms/showers are kept very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious sites, the fire pit had some trash and cigarette buds but we didn't use it. The bathrooms were close by, they could've used some cleaning, when you walked in they smelled kind of bad. The park was nice though so much so that we reserved the following weekend at a different site.

Fairly quiet and peaceful park. Very large so normally spaces available. Toilet blocks can be quite far away if you don't pick the right spot.

This was our first time to stay overnight in the camp but second time to visit. I love how close it is to our home, especially if you forget something! We are tent campers not RV's, so it is nice that there is some shade to put your tent. The lots are a good size and love the picnic area. We will definetly be back, hopefully sooner than later.

We were in 144. The bbq was caked in 3 inches of old charcoal and gunk. We tried to clean out but the bottom was so corroded it fell out. We told the gate attendant, he said someone would come by but no one did. Other than that we enjoy staying there

This was a great park to take the kids to, we were only there for the weekend but they had a lot of fun exploring the park and riding around on their bikes. This loop has a lot more kids around and they liked making new friends. The park is pretty clean, the sites are nice and big. We stayed on site 47, it was a very short walk to the bathrooms and the view we really enjoyed the view of the lake from our site. We definitely plan on going back.

The RV spots are beautiful. Some of the picnic shelters need new roofs. The bathrooms badly need a complete overhaul. They stink and are very rundown. You could do so much better! I wish you had RV spots at Russell Park. Our kids wanted to swim, so every day we had to pack up food and gear and drive over to the other side of the lake to swim.

I loved my long weekend at Jim Hogg. The electric and water worked beautifully and the campsite was clean when I pulled in.
