Unable to get into cabin. Unable to contact anybody to let us in. Still used the campsite, but left instead of sleeping there. Great place to watch the sunset.

Sites were fine. Cell service (Verizon) was mediocre. In and out but useable more than not.
The bathrooms were gross.
The gate was fine. No big deal to come and check sites out then register for the one you want.
The beach and boat ramps look like a good draw for people that want those.

The campsites are nice and large with large trees or shrubbery to create a better sense of privacy. The bathrooms were alright and they had showers, which is always a plus. The campsites all have a pavilion and picnic table, as well as a firepit and a grill so you have some shelter and a few cooking options. Overall very nice!

Site 40 has a great view. The beach is inviting. They have showers and drinking water. The bathrooms are yuck (Oct 2022) $12/ night thru recreation.gov app
5g cell signal isn’t bad, fluctuates btwn 2 and 4 bars.
You could self register and show up whenever without the hassle of dealing with a front gate code etc.
