We did a late winter (March) visit. Very clean campground, right on the lake, plenty of grass for the kids and adults to play and enjoy. The power and water worked flawlessly and the campground host was helpful. Would stay here again. Very close to friends in Round Rock and Austin, but far enough to get away from it all.

Our site was wonderful! We had a great time. The campground is a T and we were at one end, so we were a little far from the restrooms. Also, there is no beach access. The restrooms are clean with warm showers, but there are 2 stalls and 2 shower stalls in the womens restroom. Overall a great experience.

Small campground. Fire pit at our site was overflowing with ash. Saw lots of folks heading off into the woods to fish. Walked by two dozen small dead fish by one (empty) campsite. Gate was unattended, go directly to your reserved site.

We never got a pass to go into the park. The entrance gate was only open 1 day and the attendant could not give me a pass at that time. I don't know if the gate really closed at 10:00 pm or not. Bathrooms were clean and so was the park. I will not return as there is not good access to the lake.

Nice campground with a lot of open areas. Only negatives, non-campers parked in the campground to go fishing and the boat ramp / picnic area had lots of litter.

I am on the road visiting lakes in Texas and staying almost exclusively at Corp of Engineers campgrounds. Really enjoyed my stay at the Willis Creek facility on Granger Lake.
Property hosts, rangers and volunteers keep the property looking great and extremely clean. Fellow campers were friendly, respectful and observant of quiet times & campground rules.
Will return for sure!
