There was no one at the gate when we drove in and we couldn't find either of the camp hosts. The group campsite was marked for day use, so it was frustrating not to be able to clarify we were in the right spot.
The lake and pavilion were great though!

Small COE park on Granger Lake, quiet and peaceful with friendly families for Memorial Weekend enjoying fishing, camping and campfires. Unfortunately we had lots of rain off and on thus the grass was very high at the camp sites and needed to be mowed but the ground was too wet. Many of the covered picnic areas at each camp site were in need of repairs ,many of the roofs were damaged and wood rotted in several that we looked at. The sites were all paved and ours was fairly level. We enjoyed our stay and the camp host was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Willis Creek. The park is clean. The pavilion, picnic table and grill were appreciated. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again.

The campsites are spacious but the grass was knee-high on our half of the park, the other half had been mowed. This park is at the very back end of the lake (which is pretty shallow everywhere already) so the water here was only inches deep and muddy. Not suitable for swimming, and I don't see how a boat could get out.

Views were great. Wish the grass had been mowed. We stayed at site 17 which was great but the picnic area flooded when it rained.

My site was very close to the bathrooms, which were kept very clean. Very friendly help at the check in station. Didn't see any pigs hunting on the public land, but I sure enjoyed trying and staying at Willis Creek!

This is the worst kept ACE campground that we have ever seen. The gate was open when we arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, no camp host on duty at the guard house. We knew our site number so we went to it. Camp host showed up about 2 hours later to give us a parking pass. 3 dumpsters overflowing. What ever you do, do NOT use the bathrooms! The men’s reeked of urine and the showers were filthy. The woman’s was filthy, unflushed toilets. Enough to make you throw up. The roads were in disrepair with large ruts. On the good side, the trails were very nice and scenic.
