What a difference from my stay last winter during the ice storm lol. These grounds were all nicely kept and the washrooms while dated were nice and clean. Noticeable from my last visit was the water views which used to be virtually non existent. I realize that it is a result of much remediation since the storm, but now a good many of the sites have lovely water views. Kudos to the staff and volunteers for a great job in the recovery and maintenance of the campground.

It was great but the water faucet leaked water at the turn handle. I tried to tighten it up but didn’t work.
Great place.

Really nice park. Sites are very good, most are newly paved and have gazebo’s and plenty of room. Lots of deer and armadillo roaming about. The only complaint was there are no trash bins inside the park, they’re all up at the entrance, which can be a long walk or a drive. It’d be nice to put a couple at the back of the park.

Beautiful park! Campsites are easy access and set up very well. We would have gladly given a 5 star review if it were not for the condition of the Bathhouse facilities....The facilities are fine as far as what is offered (shower/toilet) the MAJOR issue was the condition....FILTHY AND UNKEPT the Entire Week we camped. There is No Excuse for this. We know the unpredictability of the campers in the park at any given time, however, there is staff onsite and the monitoring and cleaning of these facilities CAN be adjusted to keep them clean(er). We are hoping our next visit is better and we can give a 5 star review....

Week days stay. Few campers. Nice relaxing experience. Adequate Verizon cell service. Decent over the air TV reception. Didn’t use the bathroom so no comment there. Dump station if headed in the departure direction slopes away from the dump point. Thus, total dump is not possible.
