This is a nice area and the camping sites are paved and level with a lot of room between the sites. Each site has a nice covered shelter. The grounds around the campsites haven’t been mowed and the weeds were about 2’ tall around the fire pits and water/electric hookups. We stayed here a couple of years ago and back then the restrooms and showers were horrible and nothing has changed they’re still crap. After taking a shower you feel dirty than before the shower.

This is a very nice COE park. Not very busy during the week yet. Sites are large and every one has a shelter, BBQ grill and fire ring. Water pressure and electric were good. The only real negative for this park is that the grass was mowed recently, but they could also use a trimmer around the fire ring, electric pedestal and water fixtures.

Lots of mowed dead grass all over the camp site and on the cement slab where the table and shelter are. The 30 amp did not work on our site 31 and we were told they wouldn’t be able to get it fixed over the weekend so we borrowed a 50 amp plug. We have Verizon cellular and the service was non existent and we were only 11 miles from Taylor. The sites are roomy and plenty of grass around them. No easy way to get down to the waters edge. Dogs are not allowed in the day use or swimming area.

GREAT park! Great Host.
HORRIBLE cell service! I know that's not their fault, but my AT&T service was barely there-unable to work.

First of all, we love camping at Wilson H Fox, our 8yo granddaughter loves playing on the playscape and meeting new friends. Generally, we love the campground and all the amities but on this occasion, we noticed a lack of ground maintenance and the condition of the park as a whole. We camped in one of our favorite spots #17 and right off we noticed that the grass around the fire ring was so high we couldn't use it and our granddaughter was disappointed we couldn't have smores by the fire. Also, the BBQ grill was full of ashes and unburned charcoal and was unusable. The picnic table and the concrete under the pergola were dirty and looked as if someone spilled grease on them, the site looked as if no one has cleaned it in some time. Also when we arrived no one was manning the main gate and we didn't see anyone until late Saturday afternoon. We noticed all the park host sited were occupied but we never saw anyone doing anything to clean or improve the park conditions. Hopefully, things will change in the near future and will improve.
