We were there 14 days and the bathrooms were never cleaned it seems to be a thing with Texas coe it's a shame because it's a fantastic park

The site was very dirty with trash in the fire pit with glass all around the oring fire base and it looks like no one to working to clean up the places.

USACE has invested in many improvements to the sites. There is better parking, and crumbling asphalt has been repaired. However, for all the βvolunteersβ they have living at the parks now, the trash along the shore and at the fishing dock was HORRIBLE. We picked-up TWO 50 gallon trash bags worth of trash JUST AT THE FISHING DOCK. Those were all we had, since we were only there for the weekend. We probably could have filled 10 more bags, just walking along the shore.

We have been camping at Granger Lake for 15 years now. We have always had a excellent experience no mater happens. Great fishing no matter where you fish at. Make sure to visit all the parks and the dam . My kids use to ride their bikes on the trails not sure if they still exist but they have some very interesting stories on those trails.

A great campground. All services work well, the sites are level and the deer look very happy. If the campground had sewer on site it would be perfect.

When trying to reserve our site weeks in advance, the website showed all but two sites booked. When we arrived there were very few sites being used. I'm not sure this is a website issue but it's happened to us before. Also, the camp grounds and fishing pier area were very littered. We're expected to pick up after ours dogs but what about trash? Shouldn't the rules apply there too?
This has always been one of our favorite places to RV but it's quickly moving down the list.

Beautiful and quiet place to stay.
Staff is open and friendly. I wish that there was not a 10 PM lockout. We stay there and visit my grandkids in Hutto.
