I really enjoy this campground and have been there multiple times. The road is nice and it's off the beaten path a bit so I feel like there's less people. The only thing it needs is probably some restroom updates as many times the shower faucets are broken or things don't work correctly. The playground could probably use a bit of some maintenance or an upgrade as well. But those issues are not a deal breaker and we still keep going back :)

We love this park! Always clean! But make reservations early- the best spots we like are almost always already booked up😩

The sites were long and level. Plenty of space between sites. Water and electricity worked fine. Very clean. Grocery, shopping and restaurants close by.

We have been going to this park for years and reserve the sites along the lake area. Over the years the shrubbery, weeds & new trees have grown and blocked out the view of the lake. There are now only a couple of sites where you can see the lake. The shrubbery and weeds and some of the trees need to be trimmed back so there is a view of the lake. I understand some of the trees need to remain to prevent erosion, but they can be trimmed back. I go camping to be near and see the lake. Also, the last few times we have camped people have left their dogs tied up while they spend the day on the lake boating and the dogs bark all day long!!! I was near a site where they had put their dog in one of those dog gate things away from their picnic table area and that dog barked all day. They were right there and never paid any attention to that dog. I finally went over and complained to them but they seemed a bit hostile and rude about my complaint. I have mentioned it to the park ranger and they never seem to do anything about it. I go camping for peace and quiet, not to here dogs bark all day!! So we need better views of the lake and less barking dogs. Thank you.

We stayed at campsite 48 which is a shelter and we love that you can close the windows to keep the wind from coming in. The wind still came in the uncovered door and we tried to put plastic up but the wind was so strong it kept blowing it apart. We were still impressed with it tho.
We were disappointed that you can't get down to the water to fish or have a picnic at the picnic tables cause they are all closed off. We expected the swimming area to be closed due to the weather. The only thing opened was the fishing dock and it was to far for us to walk down to because of our age and health. The grandkids got tired of staying at the campsite the whole time and wanted to be able to run down to the water. We wish that part of the picnic tables had been open and we could have fished with the grandkids at the water where we could walk to because of our age and health. The part where you could dock the boats were open but we don't have a boat. Just didn't seem as much fun having to just stay at our campsite and the older grandkids did not want to go to the playground. We just wish you could open up some of the picnic tables and the grassy area where we could fish besides at the long walk to the fishing dock. Thank you, Judy

We always enjoy ourselves at Wilson Fox park. The sites are spacious and individual, and where we camp, we can walk down a gentle incline to the water to fish...right behind our site! People are friendly and usually quiet, the park personnel are helpful, and the grounds are maintained. Even the bathrooms are kept clean and supplied. We love our home away from home!
