The setting is beautiful, and peaceful; the entire place is kept impressively clean. There is also an RV detailing company (Sparkle On The Spot) that visits the campground; his rates are competitive.
Be advised: the property is located just west of the Dallas airport flight corridor, and the sound of commercial aircraft landing and taking off can be heard most of the day. This is not a complaint—just know before you book your stay.

We stayed at The Vineyards Campground & RV Resort in Grapevine, TX from 4/19 to 4/23
Getting There: It is inside a city, so you'll have to go through city streets to get there, but it's nothing that can't be managed. There is good signage so the park is easy to locate.
Customer Service/Checking In: Everyone was very helpful and kind. It is a gated park and they do a good job of keeping it safe. You have to stop and show your car tag to enter, guests must be registered, and there's a few spots at the entrance where food delivery drivers must wait for you to meet them.
Site #: 40
Level: The site was level
Electric/Water/Sewer: Everything worked great
Noise Level: The park is only a mile or so from main Grapevine, but somehow the park remains crazy quiet. I spent a couple full days at the park and was surprised at how peaceful it was.
Interior Roads: Easy to navigate, you get a map and there are named streets so no issues getting lost or confused.
Pet Experience: There are lots of grassy areas to walk dogs and several pet waste stations throughout the park. There is an off leash area, but it is not fenced (which can be nice as long as you have a dog with good recall).
Overall Pros: Everything about this park is a pro. It's clean, grounds are beautiful, plenty of family things while keeping a peace and quiet atmosphere. Being inside the city, there is a ton of food and entertainment nearby.
Overall Cons: That we had to leave
Would I return: This will be our go-to anytime we're back in north Texas.

We really enjoyed staying at this RV park during the month of April 2026. Unfortunately, the weather was quite the struggle... The wind was untenable for most of the visit and our sun shade was ripped by a rogue gust of wind. Despite all that, we were able to enjoy kayaking with our new kayaks at least one day each weekend during the month and we enjoyed it so much! We love the fact there's a gate and the place is pretty secure and well taken care of. It's a bit pricey, but it's located in a great area with bicycle access to downtown Grapevine and all the lovely shops and restaurants they have to offer. But be careful, TX drivers make you feel like you're gonna die when you're on a bike! Pedal at your own risk. Definitely recommend the campground, though!

Awesome Lakeside Views. The entire park is very clean and well maintained. We stayed near the end of the peninsula in spot 83 which was exceptionally nice. They had fast, strong Wi-Fi. They are very friendly and treat people like a community where they have free pizza and donuts on the weekends. Definitely worth repeat stays. Grapevine has a cool little downtown area on Main street that is definitely worth walking. We also enjoyed the Fort Worth Stockyards to see the daily Longhorn Cattle drive; this also has a nice area for walking and shopping. And visiting the JFK assassination site was very interesting.

This campground is delightful! Well maintained, fantastic park for kids, water views & all in the city. You would never know. Camping spots are easy to get in & out of and the grounds are secure. Great getaway with great access within the grounds and great access to city conveniences.
