The campground was very nice, clean and well laid out. I was concerned about three things, however, 1) if you’re not back by 10 PM the gate is locked and you can’t get in. 2) there doesn’t seem to be any campground host checking on the campers. For example the people next to us at one campsite were up till 2 am playing loud music. Moved to another campsite and the people next to us left an unattended campfire, which is illegal and, it burnt and smolder for at least four hours. No campground host was around. In fact, we were there for one week and didn’t even see a campground host. Maybe they’re not responsible for things I just stated. I happen to work for a federal campground for a few years and always monitored the campers and especially the campfires. that’s my take.

Love this park… my only wish is that dog parents would pickup after their animals. Most are wonderful about this, but there are always the few that forget. Nothing like stepping in fresh poo. The park is very nice and the hosts wonderful.

BEAUTIFUL Campground! Very well maintained. Plenty of shaded sites. Nice user friendly boat ramp with courtesy dock. The only thing that would improve the campground is a sandy beach.

Our lot was big and had a view of the lake. Beautiful lake and close to stores and restaurants.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience, price is very reasonable. The bathrooms could be updated and litter along the lakefront could also use some attention

We always like staying at Hickory Creek. We’d like it better with a few full hookup sites.

Great view of the lake, awesome sunsets, nice bath house. Site 27 is a 90 degree site, but it's doable in a 41' 5th wheel with no issues. Clear sky for Starlink if needed at the back of the site. Relatively level site and convenient to the walking paths.
