What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

This is a good family park. I plan to return. Playground is disappointing with only a basic swing set at this time.

Sandy Creek is one of our favorite parks! Always very clean, beautiful spots and the staff are always wonderful to deal with!!
We actually stay a week every new years and it's always the one of the best trips of the year!

Restrooms were clean the showers had nice hot water and most importantly they had heaters to warm them during our January stay. Park staff was friendly and respectful. A lot of the reviews complained about park hosts having barking dogs on the OFOL loop that we stayed on but there were no dogs present at the time of our stay. We will be staying there again no doubt.

Nice quiet area, clean campground, bathroom and shower could use updating, but our stay was great.

Sites are large, clean and lots of shade. Camp hosts are very friendly. Best part, no golf carts.

Coordinates provided for site 50 was wrong. View of lake from site 50 is excellent! Two star rating because restrooms have stainless steel toilets that look worse than a vacated prison. The restrooms were not very clean. Several campers running around with unleashed dogs. One of those unleashed dogs tried to attack my leashed dog. We left three days early. Cell phone coverage excellent with Verizon at site 50.
