What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

The campsites, lake, and surrounding woods were beautiful. The park Rangers were very helpful and friendly.
There were unfortunately, fire ants and ground hornets in the camp sites, though the hornets were quickly killed by park personnel once informed. The words were also full of dead fall and rotting trees, a fire hazard in the burn ban. The wood covered bridge walkway had been torn out and the trails torn up around it, possibly due to renovations.
We still had a wonderful time camping and would highly recommend the campground.
