What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Sandy Creek is a peaceful park with lots of shady spots, some near the lake and some not but you can look at spots before you pick one and thats always a good thing if you have never been. For those that have been you know where you like the best. My last visit was for Thanksgiving week and it was for RR and for a family get together on Thanksgiving day.

Site long pull thru. did not have to unhook for one night. Level. Quiet. hard to locate site numbers in the dark.

Loved the campground. Biked through all the campsites, out on to the county roads, and up to the short hiking trail into the state park. Quick hike up to the state park was easy and fun.

I really like this campground. I go back there a couple times a year and stay for a week or two. AT&T cell connection is wonderful. The grounds and the sites are well maintained and the hosts are very friendly. The bathrooms are a bit rustic and could use some updating, but very clean.
