What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

Nice remote park with mostly well spaced sites. We had beautiful sites right on the lake, as most of the sites are. Some sites would be difficult to back into, so be sure to check out a site's location, dimensions, etc before booking. Was a little strange that we never had contact with a ranger or host, nor any card for vehicle showing our registration other than small sign on post. Perhaps because it was off season. Great trails in state park next door and good trails, hiking or biking, in the park itself. We would stay again if in area.

Great park! Roads are a bit narrow getting into the park but not heavily traveled. This is our second time staying at the park. We were in Site 14. 45 ft Class A with Jeep. Site is huge! Probably could fit three 45 ft rigs. Hiking trail right from our site. Great for a Blue Heeler puppy. Lots of places to ride road bike off main highways.
