What Guests Are Saying
Twin Dikes campground is generally well-maintained, clean, and offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful lake views and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the helpful camp hosts and the serene environment, which is great for birdwatching and family relaxation. Some concerns include the need for maintenance on older sites and occasional issues with neighboring campers, but overall, guests enjoy their experiences and plan to return.

Our campsite was empty for for 48 hours before we arrived but was so dirty when we got there. The host came over and was surprised at how bad the fire-pit was. He ask us if we were planning on burning a fire and I said absolutely not. It is 100 degrees outside. I ask for a picker and bucket so I could clean up and pick up all the trash around the campsite. Host told me the previous campers had a big birthday party, which would explain the bubble bottles, balloons, 20-30 candy wrappers (full of ants), and many other pieces of paper, alone with about 100 cigarette butts. He gave it to me so I could clean everything up. He was very nice but arriving to this much trash at the campsite when no one was there the day before, and having 3 host on the campground it shouldn’t have been that way.

Bathrooms were less than desirable.
While public bathrooms are usually never the cleanest, these were beyond unacceptable. The women's bathroom had no lights working. The one in the sink area, nor the one in the toilet area. The men's had one over the sink area but not the toilet area. In the time we were there, July 1-4, I only saw them go in once or twice and did not notice any difference when they left.

Two issues
1. We arrived after a 5 hr drive to find another camper in our spot. Host said owner got out of work at 330pm. Check out was 2pm. She suggested we wait. No way. She moved us and charged us.
2. Bathrooms were disgusting.
Will not stay here again.

The stay at the park was good. There were issues with the facilities (sewer) that required repairs. I would stay there again.

This site was great for our family of 9! We had a small camper & set up tents & cots inside the shelter. The shelter was nice but needed a good blow-out from some cobwebs & daddy-long legs (harmless). Swept it & the kids had a great time! S1 was really roomy & lots of trees for shade! I recommend bringing some ant killer & a blower. You can lock the shelter while ur gone if you want to bring a small pad lock like on a high school locker.
The bathrooms are very close & there’s a boat ramp which was handy! But there’s no boat dock to get ur driver back in the boat & the shore is rocky. The volunteer staff was super nice! They said they are planning on putting in another boat dock in the future. This is a quiet peaceful campgrounds & we would visit again.

Paved area for trailer was much too narrow. Our trailer is only 6.5 ft wide and it barely fit. The ground level around the paved area was 4 to 6 inches lower that the paved area and created a fall hazard. My wife did fall because of that issue.

Really enjoyed our stay. The campground was quiet, wildlife was beautiful. There were two black squirrels we watched the entire time. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. I Kayaked and fished, and like with all COE campgrounds we will stay again.
